High Pressure/ Low pressure

I wanted to post on this site as I felt more technical knowledge here than the usual car forums.

Front fed induction.

I want to learn about how the low pressure zones can vary within engine bay all the way to and into a intake manifold.

Would A be better because air can flow right into and up to the intake filter without zero obstruction.?

Or B is better because the filter is close to the high pressure zone therefore will flow through quicker.?
