I've recently completed the 3 speed to 4 speed auto gearbox conversion that I've been doing on my Datsun for what seems like forever.
The only bad thing about it was that I couldn't use a late model electronically controlled auto with TC lock-up.
Now, after driving it, I find that the 4N71B box that I've used, DOES have lock-up. Not electronically controlled, but lock-up none the less.
