I have returned!

A few years ago I bought a 91 Swift to rebuild and drive around the country in. The machine shop destroyed my head and killed that dream. I haven't owned a vehicle since then. I just bought a 1976 Dodge van converted to motorhome by Tioga. I got it with a 318 in it. I blew that driving it home. I have another 318 from a motorhome scrapping project. Now I plan to rebuild one and be a full time RVer. I am hoping to get the best mpg I can out of this thing while I travel. I also have two transmissions. I was thinking I might be able to change gear ratios for better performance. I have very little knowledge of any thing other than small i4 engines so this will be tricky.

Happy to accept any tips, suggestions, ideas, or comments.
