Back in the 1970s they were building LNG carrying ships at Newport News shipyard. When the word got out about the consequences of a ship channel collision in New Yrok harbour with the resulting explosion of the NG carrying ship, the insurance rates projection syrocketed and the ship construction was halted with everything nearing completion mothballed immediately.
Sounds like history repeating itself.
