It really makes my blood boil when I see support for SUVs with boat-anchor V8 gassers instead of 4-cylinder turbodiesels. For example, the Hyundai HD78 has a GVW higher than the GVCW of some versions of the Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, and is featured with 4-pot turbodiesels from a high-speed 3.0L (Brazilian version, with the engine sourced by Fiat to increase the locally-made content) to a low-speed 3.9L (made by Hyundai itself and available everywhere else), and both engines are able to perform the same jobs that a Vortec V8 gasser over 5.0L performs...
