Ahh, too bad you already did brakes. I was thinking since they were shot, Ive heard that the Aspire has larger brakes and can be easily swapped on for better stopping power, and if the wheel bearings are larger then they would probably get eaten less.

Last year there was a 92 or so Metro (not even xfi) that looked like it has been rolled onto its passenger side, and it sold for $1200 in less than a week.
