I bought a bike trailer for $10 off CL and proceeded to visit the recycling center using no gas at all! I think I will be heavily modifying this to be more cargo-friendly. I have some heavy duty wheels/tires and a couple disassembled wooden pallets...

Also, rode my '63 Schwinn to work on Friday. After a few days of rainy drive-to-work weather, it was refreshing to cruise in style. Yesterday I walked a few hundred feet to the grocery store and brought my purchases home via a large US Army duffel/backpack.

Honestly, the best thing I did was to get an apartment less than two miles from work, and two miles from basically anything I need. If I didn't go out to hang out with people there would be no reason to own a car.
