Very nice work. From mid 50s up to about 80. About a 45% improvement. Few of us do that well.
Better gearing lets your engine reap the rewards of less aero road load. Unless you operate in very hilly country (doesn't sound hilly with a55 MPG base) the MPG effect of weight difference is not overly significant.
