I feel your pain.
My GF just got a 2012 Civic EX sedan AT and she is getting 39mpg on an average tank. I did contribute to that by doing a bit of passenger seat coaching which has gotten her to slow from 70mph to 60mph and switch to neutral when she can, still cant get her to turn the car off at lights... My best tank EVER is
41.7mpg and she hardly does anything to get consistant 39's. I keep wondering how much I could get in her car an it isn't even a hybrid.
