Handheld engine oil tester

lubricheck.com

I ran across this in one of my industry magazines. He gets the Innovator of the Year award from Lubrication Management & Technology magazine. Seems like a good idea. From what I can tell it measures conductivity so it shows when acids (more conductive) increase. I'd probably want to correlate it to a Blackstone lab result the first time or two to satisfy my skepticism. For $40 it could very well replace a whole bunch of Blackstone lab reports.

Let the oil discussion begin yet again - or not.
