In the Air Force we started our F-350s about 100 times a day 7 days a week.
Never had any engine problems that could be linked to lots of stops and starts except for maybe an "low EGR flow" code in one truck over 10 years.
These were 6.0h-no and 6.4L engines.
We did have some 1990 dodge trucks with the 12valve 5.9L with the P-pump, never had any engine, starter problems with them. They are pretty rough.
We did send a few fords back to motor pool for bad starters and ignition switchs over the years but not as many as you would think for starting them 100 times a day.
