I read the thread, and I'm still not sure who is the owner/builder of the car that is the subject of this thread. Is it 87homebuilttdi?
I hope that whoever it is can post some pictures, please! And I hope they show any and all improvements as they make them; like how they got rid of the exhaust smudge, if that is what they did.
