The good news is I got 60 mpg within 2 miles with a warm engine today, and 63 mpg on a 10 mile loop. The bad news is my video wasn't good. I strapped the action cam on my head, and it gave good road views, but the UG display was underexposed most of the time.
I will mount the action cam to my driver side window with a view of the instruments and gearshift knob, showing little of the view out the window. This will improve the lighting and avoid the head/camera movement that dominates the original video. I'll reshoot the video Monday or Wednesday. It will be steadier and will show the instruments and kill switch use during the whole drive.
The biggest hypermiling factors IMO are keeping speed down, and coasting as much as possible.
