My electric car is made out of a recycled car.
The motor and controller were both second hand. Recycled.
The cables are salvaged heavy duty truck battery cables. Recycled.
It has no rare-earth magnets and the lead batteries are 97% recyclable.
It gets charged with 100% renewable energy.
But best of all, it's ridiculously fun to drive.
