Question: Turbo charging a turbocharger - Diesel Place : Chevrolet and GMC Diesel Truck Forums
Latest thing is an "oil to air" engine oil cooler that shuts off oil cooler flow while the engine is warming up.
For version 1 I am just going to wire the oil solenoid into the "cold start circuit" which cuts off after the engine reaches 120'F. This is fine for summer use.
When winter rolls around I am just going to cut off the oil cooler all together with a manual valve, or at least shut off 80%-90% of the flow.
