Just to update, I've reached my initial goal of 36 mpg, netting 36.022 mpg this past tank. Realistically, I don't think I can do any better considering my weekly routine. On a road trip, perhaps.
So I'm setting the bar low: I'm gonna try for 37 mpg now.
