Each wheel is an independent drive, sharing only a high and low pressure circuit to the accumulators. Using differential applications of stroke position on different wheels you could actually steer the car without any steering system whatsoever, like a skid steer.

Cornering enhancement would be merely a matter of providing more power to the outside wheels in a turn, even on ice, and even when regenerating. Using the existing speed sensors for anitlock brakes to prevent any slippage of each wheel independently of any other wheel whether accelerating or decelerating.

Fully capable of recovering 90% of inertial energy in a 20 wheel revolution 60-0 panic stop. Capable of providing point of slippage acceleration regardless of engine size (tires would be the only limiting factor). No direct drive electric vehicle will ever be capable of recovering several hundred horsepower seconds of energy in 20 revolutions of the wheels (typical panic stop in 120 feet from 60-0 MPH).
