I like the way strapping the front of the board into the wheel well holds the tail out to clear the rear tire. Two redwood long-boards would make awesome fender skirts.

The late Bob Parsons worked with glass (he did all the decorative glass for Steak and Ale Restaurants).
He told me that he'd successfully cut laminated safety glass by double-scoring it,then igniting a line of gasoline spread on one side along the score,then when heated,would snap it,parting the inner adhesive lamination.
I have some of the glass he gave me for experimentation.
Doing single-curve or compound-curve glass is supposed to be the real challenge.
If you do the dual Duke Kahanamoku redwood long-boards you MUST hang a leather strapped Tiki from the rearview!
