kach22i -- I feel like I slighted your contribution. The egg shape and triangular faceted windows look very much like the redesign for my Cortez that I posted a while back.
aerohead -- That's tyhe traditional way, or must grinding it down on the edge. I wonder who's using lasers. A narrow cut that moves too fast to heat up hte glass locally sounds like the ticket.
And a piece of that lead-infused electrically-defrosted glass they used in Taurus windshields would be the best choice. Rat rods need the heater channels replaced with 1'4" plate to section the body and you lose the defrosters.
