I thought hood insulation was only for acoustic reasons.

I have no idea what this thread is about.

I'm sure the air-cooled Porsche guys would get a kick out of this, because they are always trying to figure out a way to keep the temperatures down, not up.

Maybe somebody in Alaska will appreciate this thread.
