Yes...tried it...blew up the trans. Got a little too happy with the impact gun I guess and the trans ate itself in about 200 miles. So I just swapped in an entire MP2 tans and don't plan to attempt the 5th gear swap ever again lol.
One of Wunibald Kamm's last official projects was a K-form roof extension on a 1960s DKW (AUDI) notchback car,for the Frankfurt division of Battelle Institute.
Kamm created,what looks like a fiberglass extension which fully enveloped the aft portion from roof header to tip of trunklid.
He included his signature dual split-fins for stability.
He'd also done this for Briggs Cunningham in 1953 with the C4K LeMans entry,minus the fins.
