It usually is, especially on the way home. The problem I had was that traffic was pretty horrible. I had read around before (and always known it was efficient in general) that Geo Metros benefit much more at 45mph and under. Well we started having a lot of construction on 126 so I decided to say screw it and was finally pushed to just take the streets. Which somehow managed to cut off about 1 mile off the commute xD.
