Speed is going to kill your fuel economy. First thing, slow down. You will find that most of us don't go over 60 mph on the highway very often. You have to decide which is more important, saving money on gas or saving 5 minutes of driving. There are a lot of driving techniques you can practice to increase your fuel economy. But to maximize the effectiveness of those techniques you need some instrumentation like an Ultragauge or Scangauge.
