My 70 km-commute trip consists 55 km freeway and 15 km highway so my average speed is close to my cruise speed. I have 7 roundabouts and 2 red lights on the highway. Average speed is 47 mph for 51 mph cruise speed. These trips return 80-85 mpg. Near ideal roads for good mpg. My commutes represent 85% of my travels, the remaining 15% are usually done at 38-40 mph average for similar mpg.
