Greetings All,

I stumbled across this site whilst looking for information on how to convert a gas burner to an electric or hybrid. Yeah! Someplace where others care about this stuff too.

At this time we own a 93 Geo Tracker (2wd) which will probably be the *project car* if I can get someone else (hubby) interested in doing it...and a 91 Ford Ranger 4WD. We need the 4WD a lot where we live to get off our street, so it will stay, for that purpose, and hopefully the Tracker wil get converted in the near future.

We originally wanted to buy a hybrid, as at least a start towards becoming fossil fuel free, although an electric was another thought. After researching the prices and so on, it appears conversion may be our only option for qhite a while...either that or a second mortgage on our house! (not something we really want, as we are also trying to become debt free as well)

Anyways, you will notice I ramble a lot, sorry in advance but there you have it...

Cheers,
Shadowe
