Sure, but in certain cases it can occasionally become too light if the weight balance is not properly calculated. Back here there were some accidents with Volkswagen-based tricycles in the 80s for that reason. Currently there are still a few tricycles with Volkswagen powertrain available brand-new, but the frames have a better weight balance and, altough the weight is more concentrated close to the axle with 2 wheels, it's now more to the wheelbase than to the overhang.
