Go Kumho

Hopefully I can shed some light on this discussion. I also have a Civic VX with the stock 13" Wheels. I searched the site and the net for a couple of weeks to find the best tires for the VX and came up with the Kumho Solus KR21. It is only available in 155/80 R13, but they fit fine. I have about 1500 miles on them so far and I am very happy with them. I keep them inflated to 50psi and they handle great wet or dry and seem to be very quiet. The speedometer and odometer seem to also be reasonably accurate. As far as I can tell the speedo is only off by 2 mph. I have been getting great fuel economy with them even though they are not a LRR rated tire. I regularly get 65 to 70mpg on my trip to and from work(30 miles). I only have a few minor mods so far, grille block and MPGuino, mirror delete, antenna delete. Most of the fuel economy gains are from driving technique and maintaining lean burn. The Kumho Solus tires sure don't hurt. I would highly recommend them. Smaller tires = less rubber on the road to deflect and less rolling resistance. Don't be afraid of the smaller size. Hope this helps.
