that a nice increase, My 2005 colorado rated at 25 highway I'm able to pull 35mpg from it .. I however have a scangauge and yours is 1 year to old for a scan gauge.. install a vacuum gauge in the cab for monitoring the vacuum.. try to keep as much vacuum as possible on the gauge. thats what I do in my 88 CRX works pretty good.
Instrimentation of what your motor is doing is pretty key to getting good MPG.. even if its just a vacuum gauge
