For my winter tires I've bought a set of cheap 15" hubcaps from Conrad.
At less than 5 € each they were cheap enough to mess with and not worry about it.

They are slightly convex just like moon disks, but they have holes and a center dimple.
Still looking for the best way and material to cover those up.
Suggestions are more than welcome.
