Production has been a "plan" for a while, whether it's Edison2 or a licensee, whoever has the most money and jumps first makes the car. I wish things were at "government crap" phase, but there's a seemingly infinite number of things that have to happen before that.
It takes a lot of money to complete the car,
then millions for jumping through regulatory hoops,
then hundreds of millions for production.
This isn't aimed at anyone here, but most people underestimate what this takes.
