Thanks Tele Man. After I posted I realized that I should have asked about consistency more than quality because of the reasons you listed above. I guess quality and consistency go hand-in-hand to a point but I just want to make sure I don't throw $20 down the drain if its better spent a better gauge for a little more money. Hopefully others have used these gauges, or ones similar, and can comment on their performance.
