The amount of work to get 62mpg was a bit because I was floundering around not knowing how to drive a CVT (coming off a stick) I was trying to figure out how to pulse and glide it with some limited sucess.
The trouble I kept having was that the battery was always dead and wanted to race the engine.
The godsend was the real shifter and neutral .
Shifting to neutral kills the motor and eliminates uneccessary regen.
There would probably be a steep learning curve for me but I am very tempted by the vehicle, trouble is other members of my family would want it and I hate the toyota pricing games and unavailability of the Prius C ONE. I also am not sure how to order anything from toyota, I hate orange !
In any event the dealer was very dissapointed when I didn't take his $24k used C four and asked about the C one.
Any good dealers in Wisconsin?

Yes, in Madison WI. Smart Motors on Odana Rd. is a great dealership. I received exceptional service and was always satisfied with their repair work. My wife just bought a Prius C 2 at John Lancaster in Madison. Wish we could have had the same service as the Smart Motors dealership, but it wasn't horrible. We got a great deal for our trade-in. Take someone with you that knows how to make a deal.
