I reached a new record three fills-up ago, reaching 38 mpg just by changing my driving style and using new routes, as the car is mainly stock. Before entering ecomodder, I could only manage 26 mpg (when I started my fuel log, more than a year ago).

The bad news is that I couldn't improve more becauser I've encountered a lot more traffic these days, aside from two car failures in a month. The first was that the cable connecting the gear stick to the 'box broke, so I was left in second gear. Then, yesterday I had a motor failure where cylinders 3 and 4 failed to run, so I'm waiting for the recovery and preparing for a large bill.
