Hello i have a 2005 kia rio which pretty much for the last 2 years has a squel when you start up churps until warmed up. Squels at idle (til warmed up) when the ac is on, headlights are on or steering wheel is all the way turned. Now be for giving me the obvious its the belt, it isnt. 2 years ago had dealer replacef belt (bad mistake) and put the wrong belts on. After a year squel got bad so replaced and noticed they werent the right ones (smaller groves) replaced with auto zone brand. Went away for a bit, came back and used belt spray to get rid of it for half a year then it started doing what it does now. Replaced belts with gates ones, went away for a week slowy started coming back. Notice power steering pump locks when fully turned, replaced power steering pump. Went away for a week now its back along with the noise when fully turned. Alternator was tested and passed (when the belt doesnt sqeal. On my car there are 2 belts one for ac and power steering, one for.water pump and alternator. When.it squeals dash dims sometimes. Im all out of ideas pretty much. Im sure im losing even.more gas then idle does at idle.
