The UltraGauge has the ability to read out the fuel sensor signal (if available) and determine by itself if a fillup has occured or not. You can even customize the high and low levels that trigger this behaviour.
It can all be found in the UltraGauge manual page 35 and further.
I don't use it as my Insight has this functionality too, and there is only room for 8 gauges at the same time in the UG display. You can set up 7 different screens to accomodate up to 56 gauges now, but then there won't be any time left to look what's happening on the road.
