My car was doing 25 (indicated) mpg when I first bought it. It was more of a limited edition track day hatch. I went through Autospeed.com that gave me the idea for a secondary intake. I bought a washing machine hose, cut it for right length, stuck it under the light cluster. The factory installed FC computer got it down to 67 (indicated)mpg on a flat straight road. Now I'm doing 44 (indicated) mpg Extra Urban on a daily basis. But the fun factor is still around as it doesn't hurt throwing this 145bhp, 2645lbs round the bends.
I keep saying (indicated) coz that's what the FC comp says. I've done a 330km trip with about 49mpg when it indicated I was doing 56.
