I did some reading on internal engine coatings, and these seem to be a great idea. If I can afford it coating the head, piston top, piston skirt and do the outside with a heat dispersion coating. If I did all this I could bring down the engine temp. All the discussions I've read also agree that they can result in more efficient burn, and increased performance. Sounds like a lot of bang for the buck.
