New Dehumidifer = cold floor?

I live on Vancouver Island, Canada. Humidity outside is usually 100% so we have been getting mold on our window sills. I finally broke down and got a 70 pint dehumidifier. It dries my condo from about 85% indoor humidity to 55% in about an hour but I have noticed that the floor feels very cold now. I am on a slab with laminate & tile flooring. I am wondering if the huge difference in humidity between my indoor and the soil below the slab could be drawing the cold up through the floor? Any other explanations? Could the air feeling warmer just make the floor feel colder? Thanks in advance
