I've done that on a few special back roads where there literally is only me there plus maybe one person once a month, if I get "hung up" before the last stretch of hill I do get out and push. The backroad although .2 mile further than the main drag allows me to coast (EOC) most of the way home wheras the main drag is a steep hill ending in a stop
