Pretty sure there was never a turbo Metro, he was probably referring to the car MetroMPG started this post off with, the turbo Firefly/Sprint. Same car as any 1.0L Metro clone, but it was the Canadian Pontiac version of a Metro/Sprint - the Firefly. Maybe they were produced in other places, but up here you could only get the turbo in the Sprint/Firefly. The Suzuki swift GT was the other "performance" clone you could get, and it was actually pretty cool, big sway bars, "big" engine etc.
