it is like a 48v, 2.6 AH battery. A single $20, 12v/10ah battery off a childs scooter has about the same energy storage. It is all about regen (not storage) and lightweight bikes don't get much of that efficiently. For $700 (or soon to be $1000), you can make a bike that will take you 20mph all day with little exertion. Stupid gimmick bike with heavy wheels will have a lot of sweaty broke riders.
