My lifetime in 94.5 year toyota pu with 22re and manual trans (last one before tacoma) (mostly suburban travel very rairly on highway) is 27.2mpg. Thats 100,400 miles (not the vehicle I post about here). I've put 205/75/15s on it instead of 195/75/14s. Only other mod is alternator disconnect and 15 watt solar panel on dash. In summer I can run without turning on alternator. In winter I run 50/50. I've gotten into the 30mpg range on only 5 tanks out of the 315 fillups. Have my doubts on 35mpg.
