Trucks are different.
The OEM air dam or chin spoiler on a lot of trucks is a total joke. Offering a 1% to 3% FE increase.
The huge air dam I put on my suburban that covers most of the front has given me about a 5% increase - the easiest 1 MPG I have been able to pick up in a long time.
