First time below 4 L/100km in a full tank. Over 1500 kms with 59.64 liters of diesel. 1.9 TDI engine 81 kw (110 bhp) and 235 Nm torque. in a 1400 kgs with 16 in rims and 205/55/16 tires on them. It's like the MkIV VW Jetta.
My engine has some problems of low pressure (it is a bit worn with 329.000 kms) 25 BAR to 31 bar when new. 19 bar is the wear limit. And the car has 18.5 bar in each cylinder.
But with hypermilling, custom aeromods, taller gearing, better tires and some cleaning and fine tuning of several parts of the engine. I'm over US EPA consumpption and below European homologation cycle by far.
