Still have the OEM battery in my '94 F150 (gonna have collector plates soon! ) but I don't know how long it could sit and still start up. I have let it set without starting for 8 months before but it needed a jump that time. Since then I've dropped the starter to clean the ground connections and also clean the battery connections so who knows.

P.S. If by chance it doesn't last as long as the rest of the truck, I will strongly consider spending the money to put another Motorcraft battery back in!
