Live updating fleet consumption, by make/model/series

Can we get one of these? I saw that a mirage forum has a fleet economy database, I figure that seeing as we already track members fuel economy, can we combine it so that we can search by model/make/year and get the fuel economy average for that model?

I see that I can list the database by make and model, but that involves searching and averaging, which can be done automatically.

Of course this would perhaps mean creating another database of every single car ever made (perhaps it could be sorted by chassis code, as this normally distinguishes relevant information such as chassis style and engine
