Since they were cold and were wasting that cold inside the engine compartment,
It would be a good guess to say the AC is going to put out cooler air than before.

An increase in overall efficiency and a nice increase in comfort.
Some ACs have a real thermostat that turns off the compressor after the cabin cools off,
but mine is manual. I have to hit the green button when I want to drop the compressor solenoid.
Either way, it saves gas when the compressor isn't pumping..
