If you cut two injectors on a 4 cylinder, you probably wont have much pumping loss, since the throttle will be wide open a lot of the time. Try driving at half the rpm normally to get a feel of the sluggishness. Sure, pulse and glide is better, since your eliminating engine friction during coast. It's hard to believe there are 121 posts on this thread and no one has pull the plug on the injector to try it.
