Here is my air-cooled car (Left/Silver) verses a more modern 911 in yellow (a water pumper)

The silver car has less frontal area, but the yellow one has a better Cd.
The silver car is about 2,450 lbs, the yellow one about 3,480 lbs.
0-60 mph, silver car about 7-seconds (2.7L), yellow car 4 or 5 seconds (3.6L) depending on model (turbo option and year dependent).
Somewhere I have a photo of a 356 next to my 911, next to a 996 (like the yellow car). The 356 is actually wider than my 911, but lower.
