Hydragas.
The first version of the Metro (the one that used the A-Series engines from the Mini) had independent Hydragas units - the
later version which used the K-series and Diesel engines used interconnected items.

Contemporary tests at the time suggested the handling was as good as if not better than a Peugeot 205 which was the standard, the Pug is better looking though
